Two ways to catch bugs before your customers do. mabl is a low-code test automation platform. vikingQA takes the other route: every test is stored as code in your own repository, in a standard open format (Playwright), and an AI agent writes that code for the people who do not.

A low-code platform lets testers build tests without code. vikingQA does that too: a business analyst records a flow with the browser extension, or describes it in chat. The agent then writes a Playwright file into the repository your developers use, so both groups work on one suite.
Click through your application as usual. The recorder writes down each step.
Your tests are stored in your own code repository, in a standard open format. If you cancel, every test stays and keeps running. A team without developers can let vikingQA add and heal tests by itself. A team with developers keeps the tools it already knows.
For developers: Every test is plain Playwright in your git. Cancel tomorrow and you keep every test. Run them in the vikingQA cloud or in your own CI. Each change is a pull request. You merge it yourself, or you turn on automatic merge and vikingQA merges it for you.
import { test, expect } from '@playwright/test';
test('Guest checkout', async ({ page }) => {
await test.step('Add a product', async () => {
await page.goto('/products');
await page.getByRole('button', {
name: 'Add to cart'
}).first().click();
});
await test.step('Check the cart', async () => {
await expect(page.getByText('1 item'))
.toBeVisible();
});
});vikingQA is hosted in the EU. The security page shows where each kind of data is processed, including the AI model providers. Sending results and evidence to Xray or Zephyr Scale, so that each requirement in Jira shows the test that covers it and the last result, is on our roadmap.

Low-code and tests-as-code fit different teams. mabl is probably the better choice in these situations.
For a non-technical tester, it works like one: record or describe, and get a test. But the result is code. The agent writes plain Playwright, and the file is in your repository.
Each test case has its steps in plain language in vikingQA, with the video of the last run. Testers review that. Nobody has to read the code: vikingQA can add the test to your suite by itself. If you have developers, they can review the code in the pull request first.
There is no automatic import from a low-code format. Teams move flow by flow: a tester records the flow again with the browser extension, or the agent writes the test from the existing test description. Start with the flows that fail most often.
mabl's pricing is by quote, with a 14-day trial. vikingQA has three plans. A Free plan, a Team plan at €500 a month with 10 seats, and an Enterprise plan by quote. Running your committed Playwright tests costs no AI credits.
