About vikingQA

Testing belongs to the whole team.

In most teams, one person tests the release, by hand, the week before go-live, and bugs reach customers. We build vikingQA to catch those bugs first: developers, business people and an AI agent build and keep one shared test suite. The tests are stored in your own code repository, so they stay yours.

Why we started

We were the two people who tested by hand.

Before vikingQA, Maxime was a process analyst and tester. Anouar was a functional analyst and tester. On every project, we did regression the same way: a spreadsheet of test cases, a browser, and the last week before go-live.

We knew the business process better than anyone. But we could not write automation, so our knowledge stayed in a spreadsheet. The developers could write automation, but they did not know every process. The test suite belonged to nobody.

vikingQA is the tool we needed then. The person who knows the process clicks through it once. The agent writes the test and adds it to the suite. A developer can review it first, if the team has one and wants that. The suite grows with every delivery.

What we believe

Three principles behind every product decision.

The suite belongs to the team
A test suite that one person owns stops when that person is busy. Everyone who knows the product must be able to add a test: with code, with clicks or with a sentence.
Your tests stay yours
Your tests are stored in your own code repository, in a standard open format. If you cancel, every test stays and keeps running. For developers: every test is plain Playwright in your git.
AI does the work and shows its evidence
The agent writes, runs and heals tests. Every change has a history in your repository, and every run comes with video, trace, network log and console log.

The founders

Two testers who started a software company.

Maxime · Co-founder
Process analyst and tester by background. He has tested business applications by hand, release after release, and knows what business and technical teams need from a tester.
Anouar · Co-founder
Functional analyst and tester by background. He has written the test cases, run them by hand, and now builds the agent that does it.
How we work with customers

You talk to the people who build the product.

We are a small team, and we keep it that way on purpose. When you ask a question, an engineer or a founder answers.

Design partners
A small group of teams works with us directly. We set up vikingQA with them, and their feedback decides what we build next.
A direct line
Every customer can reach the team by email or in-app chat. A shared channel for design partners and Enterprise customers is on our roadmap.
Straight answers
If vikingQA is not a fit for your application, we tell you in the first call.
